Investor group, KVG, raising ambitions with largest fund yet
Kern Venture Group is mounting its most ambitious campaign yet. KVG's third fund, expected to total as much as $20 million, would be novel in at least two other respects: Startups selected to receive money would get more of it, and some would be expected to establish some kind of local presence benefiting the county's economy.
The sound of success: Edge Sound Research raises $1.9 million seed round
Berger’s Potential Capital led a $1.9 million seed round in Edge Sound that closed in March 2024. Elevate Ventures, Techstars and NBA Equity, which is taking a strategic equity stake following Edge’s completion of Launchpad, also participated in the round.
Greenjets, the pioneers of bespoke electric jet engines, were honored to be invited to attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the New Whittle Laboratory at the University of Cambridge
